Which Bike is this????How Much does it costs???What is the engine capacity???What is the On-road Price???? These are the few common questions people are continuously asking me everyday about my Newly Purchased Suzuki GSX150-R (Also know as Gixxer Sf in India).

Moreover I’ve even heard people commenting….Look at this sexy red bike…Superbly looking bike…lets steal it… :D It looks way better than Yamaha R15 and Honda CBR150…. It’s a flashy and eye catching bike…. Trust me I’ve never encountered so much road presence for any other bike in this price tag.  Hello Everyone…I’m Siddharth Lal here with a new post on the review of Suzuki GSX150-R based on my experience with my newly purchased bike on 27.05.2016. So far I have driven 2700 kms in four weeks and I’m very much impressed with the overall package offered by Suzuki motorcycles in Gixxer Sf.  Suzuki Gixxer Sf is a fully faired premium 155cc motorcycle which has been developed in the same wind tunnel where the legendary Suzuki Hayabusa, Suzuki GSX1000R and the other MotoGP machines are developed.  Gixxer has achieved “J.D. Power award” in the upper executive motorcycle category for “Appeal and Quality”.

Looks and Styling:

Styling is the best facet of the Gixxer Sf, every detail of the new Suzuki Gixxer Sf is designed to give a sporty and premium look, from it’s futuristic-looking aluminium exhaust end cover, new clear lens indicators and pinstripe on wheels gives it a sharp and edgy looks, guaranteed to appeal to all motorcycle lovers.  📷 📷 The muscular look of the Gixxer Sf gives it an appeal which is even far better than the other bigger capacity motorcycles, yes it’s true as i’m not the only one proclaiming; trust me there are many. The Headlight and the front fairing is inspired from Suzuki Hayabusa yet looks simple, the fairing lacks the aerodynamic sportiness appeal that a full fairing bikes should have but the sculpted huge petrol tank with thick sculpted lines and slashes covers it all.  The handlebars is another turnoff because clip-on handle bars go better with the sporty appeal of the Suzuki Gixxer Sf, there’s no other disappointment apart from this and the simple full fairing. This is a solidly built bike with extremely high built quality, every panel or detail made of plastic or metal appends premium quality. The rear view mirrors are mounted on the fairing are wide and offers excellent rear view.  The Instrument console of the Gixxer Sf gets all-digital meter with a lot of details like Clock, Gear position, RPM limit, speed, RPM and ECO/Power indictor.  📷 📷 Suzuki Gixxer Sf gets 140/60 R17 radial rear tyre and 100/80 R17 front tyre.  📷 Overall the Suzuki Gixxer Sf has a macho, sporty and an upmarket road presence and is surely a head turner. People continuously stare at my Bike at traffic signal stoppages. You know there are many people who have even told me that this bike looks way more expensive than it’s actual price and looks as if it’s at least a 250cc motorbike.  So all these factors and road presence leaves a big smile every time I take my bike out for a spin.  📷 📷 📷 📷 📷 To honour the Suzuki’s return in MotoGP racing, the new GIXXER SF sports the Suzuki Racing Blue livery to express Suzuki's spirit and passion for racing.  📷 📷 📷 P.S. I did not buy this colour as it's quite common, i haven't seen Gixxer Sf in any other colour apart from this, moreover Blood Red was a newly launched colour.

Performance, Handling and Comfort:

Suzuki Gixxer Sf offers a smooth and soothing ride, the engine is more silent as compared to it’s rivals. Engine is even very silent at a constant speed of 70-80 Km/Hr in top gear and roars when rev hard.  📷 📷 📷

You know I just love the low, mid and high range torque of Gixxer, it picks up easily from a speed of 20 Km/Hr in 3rd gear, 30 Km/Hr in 4th gear and 40 Km/Hr in 5th gear making it a breeze in city start-stop traffic conditions. The Acceleration in the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th gear is superb whereas acceleration in the 2nd is not as good as the other gears because while redlining in the 2nd gear it feels the RPM is increasing but the increase in motion/speed of the bike is not as much as the increase in RPM. It goes from a speed of 0-100 Km/Hr in over 14secs and the top speed i’ve achieved so far is 125 Km/Hr and 120 Km/Hr on double-riding. The ultra-light weight and punchy engine under the sleek fairing of the Gixxer SF has been powered with cutting edge SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology which enables the Gixxer SF to deliver great power without compromising fuel economy and surprisingly my Gixxer Sf is returning a superb milage of 55 KMPL by changing gears at 4000RPM and maintaining a speed of 70-90 Km/Hr on top gear.

📷 Another best thing about Gixxer Sf is that it handles excellently, you can easily follow whatever race line you wish to follow as Gixxer responds precisely, even the turning radius is less. Due to broad radial tyres the Gixxer Sf is very stable at high speeds and around sharp corners and the double disc brakes are very much effective and responsive which makes riding Gixxer Sf confidently.  The rear shocker of the Gixxer Sf is 7-step adjustable, 1 being the softest and 7 being the hardest. The Vibrations are very less even near redline and at speeds above 100 Km/Hr and the sitting position is excellent and comfortable for long journeys, no back pain and shoulder pain experienced so far. These all characteristics make Suzuki Gixxer Sf a tourer as well. On the highways one can easily maintain a constant speed of 90-100 Km/Hr as riding it constantly at that speed is not tiring at all due to controlled vibrations.

Verdict:

📷 The New Gixxer SF is here to set your pulse again. With its additional features, it'll surely give a new meaning to your love for racing. Not to forget, this great performer comes from the Gixxer Family which boasts of winning multiple awards. It is a premium 155cc full faired motorcycle, not as quick as the Yamaha R15 and Honda CBR150r nor as slow as the Yamaha Fazer and Bajaj Pulsar 150; Suzuki Gixxer Sf offers more acceleration/pickup and speed than the other 150cc motorcycles and even returns a better milage, moreover it’s clever pricing makes it affordable for newbie motorcycle enthusiasts who love racing and full faired bikes.
